Tomorrowland Winter

Tomorrowland Winter doesn't take place in the familiar setting in Boom but in a challenging location in the French Alps. This is a unique experience, not only for the visitors but for the logistics organization it is a real challenge to match the expected result of the original concept.

The weather conditions in Alpe d'Huez are anything but ideal for setting up a large-scale organisation. An event at this altitude, in such weather conditions, is therefore a real challenge from a technical and logistical point of view, with an increased risk. InSite helped this endeavor behind the scenes to monitor and control all these risks.

Not only did we support the organisation itself with this extra information, but many suppliers have also used InSite to monitor the performance of their assets in these extreme conditions. InSite monitored the performance of all generators with adapted fuels at an altitude of 2000m, the constructed energy network, the water network for freezing of pipes, the connected pump network and controls for the facility facilities. In climate control InSite monitored the performance of reefer containers and the prevention of freezing of food and beverage and local weather stations that informed the weather expert about the climate conditions on site.

This way, the festival stayed up to date on all technical factors, and the event took place in complete safety.
